There are the microstock photographers, and the microstock owners. Shutterstock is finicial-wise one of the most transparent with regard to their benefits, since there are part of the share market in the USA ;)

The 1st quarter of 2015 shows big promises, with 100M$ of benefits : good job us all contributors  !

Shutterstock is even more confident for the rest of the year and announces that 440M$ of income is a target for them for the yearly income in 2015. Not bad!
